Are my payments secure on Volara?

Yes. All payments go through Stripe, a well-established payment provider. Volara does not store your card number: it is processed directly by Stripe, in a secure environment.

Your money is kept safe

With cost-sharing flights, as long as the pilot has not accepted, there is only a hold: no charge. Once accepted, your payment is held in escrow until the flight. It is only paid to the pilot after the flight has taken place.

You are protected if the flight doesn't take place

If the flight is cancelled for weather or safety reasons, you are refunded in full and automatically. If the pilot declines or doesn't respond, the hold is released and you pay nothing.
