What documents do I need to provide to rent an aircraft?

Every pilot is asked for three documents: your pilot licence, your medical certificate and your ID. You upload them in your partner area, and Volara validates them before you can book.

Documents valid right to the end

Each document must be current and stay valid until the end of your rental, not just at the start. A medical certificate that expires during the period, for example, prevents booking. Remember to upload up-to-date documents.

Depending on the aircraft

For certified aircraft, your class or type rating must also be valid. Some aircraft additionally require a minimum number of flight hours: this requirement is shown on the listing. For a microlight, the fitness rules specific to that category apply.
